CENTRAL EMPIRE WRESTLING Newsletter

Central Empire Wrestling is about to embark on it's 19th Anniversary show!  Starting off small in a pole barn out in the middle nowhere in between Keota & Wellman, Iowa, Austin Bayliss had a dream.  A vision of one day running a successful independent professional wrestling organization.  Here he is nearly two decades later, that dream now a reality.

A lot of talent comes and goes in twenty years.  New stars emerge, while old stars seem to fade into wind. Today we take a look at 9 former CEW superstars and what they are up to today.

CEW MOURNS THE LOSS OF "THE UNDERDOGG"

CEW mourns the death of one of its most popular superstars, "The Underdogg" Neal Molenberg.  Molenberg competed for CEW during its initial run, and was one of the company's top attractions, beloved by both fans & wrestlers alike. CEW's first triple crown winner, holding the Iowa Title, the Tag Team Title (with Owen Donovan) and the Heavyweight title during his reign. CEW honors the memory of "The Underdogg" and will forever cherish the memories he gave us.

SMELL GOOD WITH MAJOR PAYNE!!

Upon retirement from professional wrestling, Major Payne took a shower for the first time in 18 months and soon realized that the combinations of soap and shampoo, smelled better than the combination of body odor and pure ass that he was used to.  Since that time, Payne has been a spokesperson for various soaps, shampoos, deodorants, and colognes.  He's even bought a washing machine and has shocked both CEW as well as himself washing his clothes.

CHIEF HONORS HIMSELF WITH WRESTLER OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Chief Association recently named Chief as the "2026 Independent Pro Wrestler of the Year."

"I'm so honored to be named the 2026 Chief Association Pro Wrestler of the year," Chief said in a recent comment. "This is my 40th time winning this prestigious award.  It's a true honor."

Having begun his career in 1986, Chief was initially scared that he might not get to year 40 in the pro wrestling business, when he discovered weird, red blemishes on his buttocks. Fearful he went to the doctor to discover they were nothing to worry about.

"Turns out they were just my own lip marks from how much I kiss my own ass!" Chief said.

Chief also asked that we make note of the fact that he won the award 10/10 votes & that we include everyone who has a vote in the Chief Association.

ACE IS WILD IN VEGAS

Las Vegas, Nevada can be a very rewarding city when you have lady luck on your side.  After a successful professional wrestling career, Tommy Ace decided to spend some time in Vegas, and he immediately found that to be true.  Winning a $1,000,000 jackpot on his first spin on a slot machine, life has been good to Ace ever since.  Money, women, cars, you name it, Ace is Viva Las Vegas!

GET OUT OF SHAPE WITH SAM MOON!

How often do you open a magazine and see an ad for a diet pill?  How often do you turn on the radio & hear someone selling memberships to their gym?  Hell, you can't turn on the television without some flat belly expert telling you to eat healthier and start exercising.

What about those of us who want to live an unhealthy lifestyle?  Those of us that enjoy being massively obese and severely out of shape.  Shouldn't there be someone out their motivating us? Helping us to heighten our cholesterol and go up three or four pants sizes?  That's where former CEW wrestler Sam Moon aka Eric Lancaster comes in.

Moon, who has ballooned up to 450 lbs since his professional wrestling days, has developed various strategies and plans for getting as unhealthy as possible.  Cigarettes to smoke.  Fattening, high in trans fats, salt and sugar diets.  Adding 4 extra cups of sugar to your Kool Aid.  If you're looking to develop diabetes or die from an early heart attack, Sam Moon has you covered.

FORMER TAG TEAM CHAMPS PLANS FOR AN ANIMAL RESCUE

It's starting small, but former CEW Tag team champions Mic Meyhem & "The All American" Stephen Stonebraker are beginning plans to open up an Animal Rescue near Fairfield, Iowa.  This has been a lifelong dream of Meyhem's, who has been rescuing dogs and cats most of his life. Stonebraker, who has also been rescuing dogs and cats for the past 15 years, is excited to be helping Meyhem in his project.

"Mic's not only my former tag team partner," Stonebraker said. "He's also one of my best friends in the pro wrestling business and one of the best people I know in life.  We both love and care for animals.  It means a lot for us to be able to rescue as many dogs and cats as we can."

Meyhem eventually hopes the animal rescue becomes the largest and most successful one in Iowa.

THE KING FINALLY FINDS HIS QUEEN

Third time's a charm!  Altavious King, whose real name is Alan Nelson, is wedding for the third and what he hopes to be final time.  The lucky bride to be?  Why none other than his manager, Deacon Kross, whose real name is Kevin Ross.

Through tears of joy Ross explained that this is one of the happiest moments of his life.

"Alan's my best friend," Ross said. "I've been his manager for nearly two decades now.  It's been hard watching him with all of his God-damned girlfriends over the years.  I knew one day I'd be the next Mrs. Alan Nelson and well look at me! Here I am!"

As a wedding gift, Alan gave Ross a book of Sam Moon's "Get Unhealthy" strategies and plans.
