Four Corridor University students were expelled this past April for academic dishonesty. Rachel Jay 18, Javier Oviedo 20, Janice Dux 18, and Jermaine Abdul Ali 21, were all caught cheating on a final exam in their biology 101 course. When caught by professor G.J. Jones, the students were permanently expelled by the University.
"We have a no cheating policy here at Corridor University." Corridor University President Dana Myers told The Mighty Quinn back in April, "We hold our students to a high standard of integrity and such antics will not be tolerated."
Among the four students, it was discovered that Abdul Ali, was a member of the Corridor football team. As a running back last season, he averaged 37 yards a game and scored a total of 11 touchdowns including one that propelled the Mighty Hippos in a 21-20 victory over the Southern Iowa Maze in the Cut Bowl.
As of August 1st, Abdul Ali has been reinstated to Corridor University, while Jay, Oviedo and Dux still remain expelled.
When asked about Abdul Ali's reinstatement Myers told The Mighty Quinn, "We believe in second chances here at Corridor University. Abdul Ali has proven how seriously he takes his academic career and it wouldn't be right to deny him an education because of one mistake."
When asked if Jay, Ovideo and Dux would also be reinstated, Myers declined to comment.
Abdul Ali, a Extra-curricular and Outside of School Activities major, who maintained the 2.0 GPA requirement to remain academically eligible to play football and will graduate in May.
Jay, a Communications major who maintained a 3.5 GPA, Oviedo a Mathematics major with a 3.2 GPA and Dux a Biology major with a 4.0 GPA, are currently still in an appeals process to be reinstated.

Non-Religious Bar Owner says, "NO" to Gays.
Murph McKee, 42, owner of Murph's Bar and Grill in Ozlan, Mississippi has recently closed his doors to homosexuals. Last week McKee, put up a sign on the front door that read, "NO FAGS!"
"At First I thought he was referring to cigarettes." said local patron Lane Dane, "Then when I saw a man walk into his bar with a bundle of sticks, I knew what was up when Murph didn't kick him out."
When asked if his religious beliefs had anything to do with his decision, McKee responded, "No, I'm not even religious." His response baffled reporters.
"Look," McKee told the Mighty Quinn, "Treating people like shit is fun. Why should I have to be religious to get away with it?"
McKee believes that it violates his first amendment rights if a religious based establishment or an establishment ran by religious individuals are allowed to discriminate and he isn't.
"It makes me feel better about myself." McKee said, "It gives me a sense of superiority. I like to think I'm better than other people."
When asked if he would discriminate against other groups of people, McKee responded, "I think eventually I will. I don't think much of Jews or women either."
"What he is doing is different than what I was doing." Kim Davis, the infamous Kentucky clerk who refused to grant marriage licenses to homosexual couples said Wednesday, "I did what I did because it's what I strongly believe in."
"And I believe Kim Davis is a big fat ugly cow." Was McKee's response.
Other bar and restaurant owners in Ozlan are following Murph's example and discriminating against an assortment of people for a variety of different reasons.
"I love it." McKee said with a smile, "Getting to discriminate only used to work if you could disguise it as religious freedom. Now look around Ozlan, everyone is discriminating. I'm glad to know I started it."
When asked if discriminating has led to a drop in business, McKee reported that it has actually risen. Many people in the community of Ozlan feel similarly to how he feels and frequent his bar regularly.
Republican Mike Huckabee has stated that he would like to support McKee and his business, but wants to make sure that McKee only discriminates against groups of people that he himself does not personally like. If McKee discriminates against groups of people that Huckabee does like, he will not support him.
